May 23--"Survivor" superfan Thomas Walter has a much tamer challenge than eating bugs or enduring an obstacle course on Monday's "Survivor" edition of "The Price is Right."
Walter, of Naperville, and former "Survivor" contestant Cirie Fields correctly estimate the price of camping gear to advance on a special episode of the game show that features "Survivor" castaways paired with fans.

CBS is airing three primetime "The Price is Right" episodes this week with reality show themes. Editions featuring competitors from "Big Brother" and "The Amazing Race" air Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively. Each episode is scheduled to air at 7 p.m.
Walter, 64, has long been a "Survivor" fan, and his son Justin has hosted a series of "Survivor"-like challenges with other suburban families. Fields competed on "Survivor" in Seasons 12, 16 and 20.
