BRIEF: Watch 'MasterChef Junior' winner from River Forest make steak Diane

Feb. 04--Days after she was shown winning "MasterChef Junior," River Forest chef Addison Osta Smith returned to television to show off her cooking skills.

Addison, 10, made steak Diane, or rather "steak Addison," Wednesday on "The Late Late Show with James Corden." She got some assistance from her comedic sous chefs Rosie O'Donnell and Nikki Glaser, but Corden made a mess of things as he drank the cooking brandy.

Addison was the youngest and the first female winner of "MasterChef Junior," which aired its Season 4 finale Friday. Addison told Corden she plans to spend her $100,000 winnings on college, water parks, the Maywood homeless assistance group Housing Forward and the start of her bakery empire.

She also gave away gifts to her "Late Late Show" sous chefs: Red caps to wear backward, as she did on "MasterChef Junior."

"The Late Late Show" airs weeknights on CBS at 11:35 p.m.

Addison is slated to set sail on the MasterChef Cruise to the Caribbean Nov. 6-13.
