BRIEF: Watch male Second City alum play Oprah in 'SNL' sketch

April 11--Second City alumnus Mike O'Brien may have a future in talk show hosting.

O'Brien, 39, donned skirts to spoof Oprah Winfrey in a biopic sketch that aired last week on "Saturday Night Live." Winfrey filmed her talk show in Chicago from 1986-2011.

"Welcome to the 'Oprah' show, everybody. I'm gonna give you all a car now. There's a bunch of boxes under your seat so go ahead and open those boxes up and go nuts, gals. You get a car, she gets a car, all you knuckleheads are getting cars," O'Brien says in a parody of Winfrey's 2004 car giveaway.

O'Brien, who also trained at the iO Theater, played rapper Jay Z in a similar "SNL" sketch last year. He released his comedy album "Tasty Radio" in October.

"SNL" airs on NBC at 10:30 p.m. "Veep" star Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who attended Northwestern University, is slated to host Saturday's episode with musical guest Nick Jonas.
