April 05--South Side native Jennifer Hudson is a Grammy-winning Broadway performer but Monday on "The Late Late Show" she tackled children's songs with James Corden.
"I love singing well-known songs. Right, I do. And if there's one thing CBS doesn't love, it's me spending money on the rights to those songs," Corden said. "So tonight we're presenting a melody of some of the hottest public domain songs around."
Hudson, 34, and Corden sang parts of "Skip to My Lou," "Old MacDonald Had a Farm" and "If You're Happy and You Know It."
