Feb. 17--Oak Park native Eleanor Friedberger performed her new single "Because I Asked You" on Tuesday's episode of "Late Night with Seth Meyers."
The singer, 39, is slated to kick off her tour Thursday in New York in support of her album "New View," which was released last month. She's scheduled to perform 9 p.m. Feb. 24 at The Empty Bottle, 1035 N. Western Ave.
"Late Night" airs weeknights on NBC at 11:35 p.m.
