BRIEF: Watch Chicago band Disturbed play 'The Sound of Silence' on 'Conan'

March 29--Chicago metal band Disturbed played its cover of "The Sound of Silence" in Monday's episode of Conan O'Brien's talk show.

Disturbed included its version of the song, originally recorded by Simon and Garfunkel, on its 2015 album "Immortalized." A music video for the single dropped in December.

The band is set to perform July 16 at the Chicago Open Air Festival at Toyota Park in Bridgeview.

"Conan" airs 10 p.m. weeknights on TBS.
