March 10--Jeff Garlin had a recurring role on "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and stars on the ABC show "The Goldbergs," but the Chicago-area native said his brief stint as a villain on "Baywatch" was "my best acting I've ever done and the worst acting I've ever done."
Garlin, who grew up in Morton Grove and trained at Second City, recalled playing an evil disc jockey on "Baywatch" in 1994 in Wednesday's episode of "The Talk."
"I'm not a good enough actor to rise above 'Baywatch' material. However, I had scenes with David Hasselhoff and I didn't laugh," Garlin said.
"The Talk" co-host Sara Gilbert asked Garlin, 53, about the chances that Larry David's "Curb Your Enthusiasm" will return for another season. The last season aired in 2011.
Garlin said there's a 60 percent chance there will be a ninth season of the HBO show.
"I think (David) is going to be doing something else for awhile and then maybe," Garlin said. "So, I hope so."
"The Talk" airs 1 p.m. weekdays on CBS.
"The Goldbergs" airs 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays.
