BRIEF: Watch Caitlyn Jenner visit Chicago House's TransLife Center

March 28--As part of a Chicago stop on her cross-country speaking tour, Caitlyn Jenner gave the keynote address at the Chicago House Speaker Series luncheon and visited the organization's TransLife Center.

The speech and the visit, which took place in November, were featured in Sunday's episode of Jenner's E! network show "I Am Cait."

After discussing her transition at the Hilton Chicago luncheon, Jenner was shown confronting protesters who said she did not represent the reality transgender individuals face.

Jenner also met with Chicago House's CEO, the Rev. Stan J. Sloan, and a few women who live at the TransLife Center, which provides support to transgender individuals.

"If you're 13, 14 years old and you've been forced out of your home, like, you need a roof over your head just for the night here in the winter in Chicago," Sloan said. "And shelters are more dangerous than the streets because we get sent to the male sides of the shelters and raped, and it's just safer to do what you need to do to get that roof for the night."

Said Jenner: "We're trying to shed light on this, and we're trying to make it better for people."

Season 2 of "I Am Cait" airs 8 p.m. Sundays.
