March 02--Two-time Los Angeles Laker Vlade Divac has sold a house in Pacific Palisades for $2,711,500.
The hillside lot has a walled perimeter, a two-car garage and six parking spaces on the street side. Inside, the contemporary opens to panoramic ocean and mountain views.
The two-story features skylights throughout, family and dining rooms, a den, an office, five bedrooms and five bathrooms in 4,384 square feet of living space.
The retired center, 47, played for teams in Yugoslavia as well as the Lakers, the Charlotte Hornets and the Sacramento Kings. The 7-foot, 1-inch player made a name for himself with his passing and worked his way into NBA history with some 13,000 points, 9,000 rebounds and 1,000 games, among other accomplishments.
Lakers fans also fondly remember his talent for pretending he had been fouled by "flopping."
Floppy Divac, as he became known, bought the property in 2004 for $2.5 million.
