Nov. 11--Children and families can visit Santa Claus at Illinois Tollway oases this winter, starting this weekend.
Santa and one of his elves will appear from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the following locations:
--Sunday: DeKalb Oasis on the Reagan Memorial Tollway (Interstate 88)
--Saturday, Nov. 21: Belvidere Oasis on the Jane Addams Memorial Tollway (I-90)
--Sunday, Nov. 29: O'Hare Oasis on the Tri-State Tollway (I-294)
--Sunday, Dec. 6: Hinsdale Oasis on the Tri-State Tollway (I-294)
--Sunday, Dec. 13: Lake Forest Oasis on the Tri-State Tollway (I-94)
--Sunday, Dec. 20: Chicago Southland Lincoln Oasis on the Tri-State Tollway (I-294/I-80)
Visitors will be allowed to snap their own photos with Santa and also can bring a new, unwrapped toy to donate for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program.
