BRIEF: Vince Vaughn, his bad haircut under fire in 'Term Life' trailer

Jan. 22--Vince Vaughn plays Nick Barrow, a thief trying to protect his daughter Cate (played by Hailee Steinfeld) while he's being hunted by drug lords when a heist goes bad, in the upcoming crime drama "Term Life."

The movie, available on demand March 1 and in theaters April 8, features "Empire" stars Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard; Bill Paxton ("Nightcrawler") and Jonathan Banks ("Better Call Saul").

It doesn't take long for Banks' character to point out the obvious in the trailer released Thursday: Vaughn has terrible bangs in this movie.

"I came here to talk to you about something," Vaughn, 45, says in the clip.

"What? About your bad haircut?," Banks replies.

Vaughn, who grew up in Lake Forest, recently starred on the second season of the HBO series "True Detective" and is set to appear in Mel Gibson's upcoming war drama "Hacksaw Ridge."
