Feb. 23--Northwestern forward Vic Law has been named Big Ten Freshman of the Week.
Law averaged 13.0 points, 7.5 rebounds and 1.5 steals in leading Northwestern to wins at Minnesota and at home against Penn State. He recorded season-high totals of 17 points and 11 rebounds against the Nittany Lions.
The 6-foot-7 Law from St. Rita High School earned his first Big Ten weekly honor of the season. The Wildcats host Indiana on Wednesday night at Welsh-Ryan Arena.
