BRIEF: USC's Javorius Allen selected by Ravens in fourth round

May 02--USC tailback Javorius Allen was selected by the Baltimore Ravens in the fourth round of the NFL draft Saturday.

Allen is the first USC tailback back to be drafted since Allen Bradford was chosen in the sixth round in 2011.

Allen, 6 feet and 221 pounds, led the Trojans in rushing the last two seasons before deciding to forgo his final season of eligibility.

Allen was near the bottom of the depth chart midway through his redshirt sophomore season in 2013, but he emerged as the Trojans' top rushing threat after Lane Kiffin was fired as coach following the fifth game.

Allen rushed for 785 yards and scored 15 touchdowns as the Trojans finished 10-4.

Last season, Allen rushed for 1,489 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also caught 41 passes, one for a touchdown.
