BRIEF: USC recruiting: Cornerback Iman Marshall to play for Trojans

Feb. 04--USC put an exclamation point on its recruiting class Wednesday when Long Beach Poly cornerback Iman Marshall announced that he would join the Trojans.

Marshall made his announcement in a music video on Bleacher Report and then during a ceremony at Long Beach Poly.

"SC was the fit for me," he said. "I felt that was home and I'm trying to bring a [national championship] back to Los Angeles."

Marshall said he was looking forward to playing with cornerback Adoree' Jackson and linebacker Su'a Cravens.

"Just be a legend at one of the premiere college's in the nation and bring L.A. back to the promised land," he said.

High School: Long Beach Poly

Schools considered: Florida State, Louisiana State, Notre Dame, Michigan and UCLA, as per Scout

Note: Marshall was regarded as the top cornerback prospect in the nation by Scout.
