BRIEF: USC players, coaches eagerly awaiting bowl destination announcement

Dec. 07--USC will find out its bowl destination on Sunday afternoon when the Pac-12 Conference announces where member schools will play.

The Trojans are regarded as possible candidates for the Alamo, Holiday and Foster Farms bowls.

At the conclusion of Sunday morning's practice, which ended about 30 minutes before Alabama, Oregon, Florida State and Ohio State were announced as semifinalists in the College Football Playoff, Trojans Coach Steve Sarkisian said his players were "anxious to find out" who they would play in a bowl game.

Sarkisian also said that the top four teams in his coaches' poll ballot were Alabama, Oregon, Florida State and Ohio State.

USC linebacker Su'a Cravens said he had no preference for where the Trojans play their final game this season.

"Whatever bowl game we go to, we're going to be grateful we're allowed to go," he said.
