BRIEF: Usain Bolt says he's ready to race again

July 10--Usain Bolt plans to return to competition this month in London.

The world's fastest man and six-time Olympic champion had withdrawn from two previous competitions but said he will be ready to race in the city where he won the 100 and 200 meters at the 2012 Summer Games.

"The British fans are always great and I expect there will also be a lot of Jamaican fans in the stadium," Bolt said. "It will be amazing to put on another great show for them under the floodlights."

Mo Farah, Jessica Ennis-Hill and David Rudisha are also expected to compete in the Sainsbury's Anniversary Games beginning July 24.

This has not been a good season for Bolt, who recently said he is suffering from a left leg injury. It remains to be seen if he can recover fully for the world championships later in the summer.
