May 01--A man has died after he was shot on Lake Shore Drive in Uptown early Thursday morning.
Boshaun Jackson, 27, of the 4400 block of North Clifton Avenue, was pronounced dead at 7:34 a.m. Thursday at Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
Jackson was driving on the 4800 block of North Lake Shore Drive about 3:45 a.m. Thursday when he was shot in his chest, police said. Jackson walked into Weiss Memorial Hospital and was transferred to Illinois Masonic Medical Center.
Police said Jackson did not cooperate with authorities.
Jackson was one of three people killed and nine others wounded in shootings from Wednesday afternoon through Thursday morning.
