Update: Now that Houston has joined the Galaxy in Major League Soccer's Western Conference, after moving from the Eastern Conference because of the league's expansion, the teams will play each other three times in the regular season, compared with only one match last year. The Dynamo won that game, 1-0, last May 17 in Houston. The Galaxy is coming off a 2-2 draw with Portland on Sunday, a tie that ended dramatically with a goal by the Galaxy's Alan Gordon that evened the score in stoppage time. Houston's last game was a 1-0 loss to the expansion team Orlando City SC on March 13.
