Things don't figure to be nearly as awkward for DeAndre Jordan playing the Mavericks at home as they do when the Clippers travel to Dallas on Nov. 11, but there could still be some interesting exchanges involving the player who spurned the Mavericks this summer in free agency after a five-day commitment.
Clippers Coach Doc Rivers joked that he would tussle with Mark Cuban in a cage match after the Mavericks owner disparaged Rivers and refused to accept Jordan's Twitter apology. Jordan declined to discuss the game against Dallas. "We play Sacramento [Wednesday]," he said. "That's all I'm concerned about."
