BRIEF: United.com back online after outage

Sept. 08--United.com, the website for United Airlines, came back online shortly before 3 p.m. after being down for about an hour Tuesday afternoon.

Earlier in the afternoon, a United spokeswoman confirmed United.com was "temporarily unavailable."

"During this time, travelers may continue to use the United mobile app and airport kiosks to check in for their flights," United spokeswoman Jennifer Dohm said. "We are working to resolve quickly."

About 2:50 p.m., United.com was back up, as was the flight booking function in the airline's mobile app.

Dohm said the airline did not experience any flight delays or impact to operations as a result of the outage.
