April 09--A man walked into a West Side emergency room late this morning with a gunshot wound but refused to fully cooperate with police about the location where he was shot, officials said.
Shortly after 11:30 a.m., a 20-year-old man walked into Stroger Hospital with a gunshot wound to the wrist. When officers responded to the hospital, the man initially was uncooperative about where the shooting took place, according to the Chicago Police Department News Affairs' office.
The man later told officers he was shot near 16th Street and Kolin Avenue, but a crime scene has not been confirmed at that location, said police.
Police were investigating.
