The 28-year-old man was approached by four men wearing black around 10:10 p.m. in the 1200 block of South Morgan Avenue. They beat him and then stole his pants and his money, according to the alert.

The victim was taken to a hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening, the alert said. No arrests have been reported.
