Dec. 01--UCLA center Jake Brendel and linebacker Eric Kendricks were named to the Pac-12's all-academic team.
Brendel, an economics major, was named to the first team. Kendricks, a political science major, was named to the second team. It was the third consecutive year Brendel was selected.
The Bruins had seven players receive honorable mentions: linebacker Ryan Hoffmeister, fullback Taylor Legace, long snapper Christopher Longo, quarterback Jerry Neuheisel, defensive end Owamagbe Odighizuwa, defensive back Jalen Ortiz and guard Scott Quessenberry.
USC linebacker Charles Burks also received an honorable mention.
