Feb. 04--Octavius Spencer, a safety from Monrovia, has chosen to attend UCLA.
Spencer, who is 6 feet 2 and 175 pounds, intercepted two passes, returning one for a touchdown. He also returned four punts and one kickoff for touchdowns. He joins an impressive group of freshman defensive backs that signed with the Bruins.
Spencer also made visits to Oregon and Purdue.
