Feb. 04--Rick Wade, a defensive end from Santa Margarita High, has signed a letter of intent with UCLA.
Wade, who is 6 feet 6 and 235 pounds, was a solid tight end in high school, but his skills on the other side of the ball were even more impressive. He had 164 tackles in the past two seasons.
Wade is ranked 16th among defensive ends by Rivals.com and 31st by Scout.com.
