BRIEF: UCLA recruiting: Defensive back Nathan Meadors signs with Bruins

Feb. 04--Nathan Meadors, a multitalented athlete from San Bernardino San Gorgonio High, announced he will attend UCLA on ESPNU on Wednesday.

Meadors, who is 6 feet 1, 185 pounds, played quarterback last season and spent some time at cornerback. He is expected to play safety at UCLA.

He threw for 1,481 yards and ran for 1,971. But his speed is ideal for the secondary.
