BRIEF: UCLA recruiting: Andre James signs letter of intent with Bruins

Feb. 04--Andre James, an offensive lineman from Herriman (Utah) High, has signed a letter of intent with UCLA.

James, who is 6 feet 5 and 278 pounds, played tackle in high school, but can also play guard. He is already a solid run blocker.

James, who is ranked 177th among ESPN's top 300 high school players, also visited Ohio State.
