May 25--Second-ranked UCLA and Cal State Fullerton have been selected as hosts for the NCAA baseball regionals, which begin Friday.
The Diamond, home of the Class-A Lake Elsinore Storm, was also named as a regional site. UC Santa Barbara will be the host.
The Bruins, the Pac-12 champions, closed their regular season with a 4-3 loss to Oregon on Sunday. UCLA finished 42-14 overall and 22-8 in conference play.
Fullerton, the Big West champion, won its last six games heading into the tournament. The Titans are 34-22 and 19-5 in Big West play.
Louisiana State, Illinois, Texas A, Miami, Dallas Baptist, Texas Christian, Florida, Houston, Louisville, Vanderbilt, Missouri State, Oklahoma State and Florida State will also host regionals.
The NCAA pairings will be announced Monday morning.
