BRIEF: U2 to play United Center in June

Dec. 03--U2 announced this morning that the band will be returning to Chicago next summer. The band is set to play the United Center on June 24 and 25. Tickets go on sale Monday at 10 a.m.

U2's "The iNNOCENCE + eXPERIENCE Tour" will be the band's first indoor arena tour in 10 years and will include two concerts in each city.

In a statement on the band's website, Bono says, "We are going to try to have a completely different feeling from night one to night two and have some fun playing with the idea of innocence and experience. More to be revealed!"

The tour begins on May 14 in Vancouver.
