BRIEF: Two wounded in city shootings

May 05--A man and a teen were wounded in separate South and West side shootings Tuesday, according to police.

The most recent shooting left a 20-year-old man wounded in his left leg, though he wouldn't cooperate with investigators after he was shot about 4 p.m. The attack happened in the 7700 block of South Eggleston Avenue in the Winneconna Parkway neighborhood.

Earlier, a 16-year-old boy was shot in the 1600 block of South Ridgeway Avenue in the Lawndale neighborhood. The boy was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital with a leg wound. That shooting happened about 11 a.m.
