BRIEF: Two people fatally shot in South Los Angeles

June 28--Two people were fatally shot early Sunday in South Los Angeles, police said.

The shooting occurred near the intersection of 79th Street and Stanford Avenue shortly after 8 a.m., according to a Los Angeles Police Department official.

No arrests have been made and no other details were available about the victims or a possible motive for the crime.
