BRIEF: Tuesday's matchup: Toledo at Northern Illinois

Records: Toledo 6-3, 5-0 MAC; Northern Illinois 7-2, 4-1.

Last meeting: NIU won 35-17 on Nov. 20, 2013, at Toledo.

On the offensive: The Huskies offense has scored 14 of its last 15 touchdowns on the ground. Cameron Stingily recorded his third 100-yard rushing game of the season and sixth of his career when he went for 148 yards at Ball State last week.

Getting defensive: NIU forced five Ball State turnovers -- three interceptions and two fumbles. Cornerback Anthony Brooks was named MAC West defensive player of the week.

The number: 18: NIU has won 18 of its last 19 MAC games at Huskie Stadium over the last four seasons.

The talk: Huskies will be challenged to contain Toledo back Kareem Hunt, who has seven straight 100-yard rushing games. Rockets QB Logan Woodside left the Kent State game with a leg injury and will be a game-time decision.

Fred Mitchell's pick: The Huskies have won the last four against Toledo and five of the last six, including the last three at Huskie Stadium.
