BRIEF: Try Split-Rail, coming soon from former Ada St. chef Zoe Schor, at pop-up dinner

March 28--Former Ada St. executive chef Zoe Schor has announced a second pop-up dinner for Split-Rail, the restaurant she's opening later this year.

Split-Rail will serve American small plates, but think broadly on that one -- dishes will use ingredients from all over the world to represent the diversity of America.

Seats for the April 18 dinner, A Celebration of Spring and Sea, are $75. The five-course BYOB event features some whimsical sounding plates, including Day on the Pier (smoked littleneck clams, scallop dumpling and saffron-seawater broth) and Where Land Meets Sea (linguine, uni butter, English snap peas and Dungeness crab).

The dinner will be held at Two in West Town. For more information, visit the event's Web site.
