May 19--A truck carrying eight 55-gallon drums of deoxidizer caught fire early Tuesday morning on Illinois Route 394 near Glenwood Lansing Road.
The fire prompted a hazardous materials response and southbound lanes of traffic were closed from about 2:05 a.m. until about 5:15 a.m., when one southbound lane was reopened.
All northbound lanes are open, according to the Illinois State Police.
No one was injured and it's not clear what caused the fire. The semi did not crash when it caught fire, state police said.
