BRIEF: Trojans will kick off against UCLA at 5 p.m. in game with added importance

Nov. 16--USC's game on Saturday against UCLA will kick off at 5 p.m. PST and will be shown nationally on ABC, USC announced late Saturday night.

USC and UCLA were idle, but their annual rivalry game got bigger in the wake of Oregon State's 35-27 victory over Arizona State at Corvallis, Ore.

USC is 7-3 overall and 6-2 in the Pac-12 Conference. UCLA is 8-2 and 5-2 in conference play.

------

FOR THE RECORD: An earlier version of this report incorrectly stated USC would win the Pac-12 South with a win over UCLA and an Arizona victory over Arizona State. In order to win the South, USC must beat UCLA and Arizona State has to lose one of its two remaining games.

------

If the Bruins defeat USC and Stanford they will win the Pac-12 South.

USC can win the South if it defeats the Bruins and Arizona State loses to either Washington State or Arizona.

USC is coming off a 38-30 victory over California.
