BRIEF: Trojans resume spring practice on Tuesday

March 23--After a week off for spring break, USC resumes spring workouts Tuesday.

The Trojans have nine of 15 scheduled practices remaining, including the April 11 spring game at the Coliseum.

Trojans Coach Steve Sarkisian has said that he liked the format that featured the break between the first two weeks of workouts and the last three.

"It's almost like having two spring practices," he said after the Trojans' workout at the Coliseum on March 14.

Sarkisian said his staff had planned during the break to evaluate players and map out the final phase of workouts.

The Trojans must replace several key players, including All-American defensive lineman Leonard Williams, who is expected to be a top-five pick in the NFL draft, linebacker Hayes Pullard, running back Javorius Allen and receiver Nelson Agholor.
