BRIEF: Trojans QB Cody Kessler selected Pac-12 offensive player of week

Dec. 01--USC quarterback Cody Kessler was selected the Pac-12 offensive player of the week, the conference announced.

Kessler, a junior, passed for six touchdowns in the Trojans' 49-14 victory over Notre Dame on Saturday at the Coliseum. He completed 32 of 40 passes for 372 yards.

This season, Kessler has passed for 36 touchdowns, with four interceptions.

Coach Steve Sarkisian said he was scheduled to meet Monday with Kessler and other draft-eligible juniors.

USC concluded the regular season with an 8-4 record.
