BRIEF: 'Transparent' star Amy Landecker says she's been a voice double for Julia Roberts

Dec. 01--"Transparent" star Amy Landecker has been a voice double for Julia Roberts in movies, she told James Corden on Monday's episode of "The Late Late Show."

"You know how you have a body double," said Landecker, whose father is Chicago radio legend John Records Landecker. "No, seriously, close your eyes."

Corden then had Landecker, who grew up in Chicago, perform a famous line from Roberts' 1990 movie "Pretty Woman."

"Amazing," Corden said.

Landecker, who is dating her "Transparent" co-star Bradley Whitford, said she is often mistaken for Amy Brenneman, who stars in HBO's "The Leftovers."

Landecker, 46, is slated to appear in next year's superhero film "Doctor Strange."

The second season of "Transparent," Chicago native Jill Soloway's Emmy-winning series that explores transgender issues, is scheduled to premiere Dec. 11 on Amazon. The website made the season premiere available Monday to Prime subscribers.

"The Late Late Show" airs at 11:37 p.m. weeknights on CBS.
