March 06--Emergency crews responded to a scene of a fiery crash in suburban Long Grove early Friday morning.
The crash happened about 5 a.m. near the intersection of Route 83 and Aptakisic Road in the northwest suburb, according to Long Grove fire officials and the Lake County sheriff's office.
The crash involved one car and one semi-truck. Each vehicle had only one person inside at the time of the crash, and both will survive, fire officials said, citing preliminary information.
Following the crash, northbound traffic on Route 83 was shut down, according to the sheriff's office.
