Dec. 16--A small fire on the O'Hare-bound Blue Line tracks briefly delayed trains on the line this afternoon, officials said.
Power on the line did not even have to be turned off as debris that was up against the electrified third rail near the Logan Square stop on the line was cleared after it started smoking about 4 p.m., said CTA spokeswoman Catherine Hosinski.
Trains were resuming normal service by about 4:20 p.m.
