BRIEF: Tracey Ullman of 'Into the Woods' sells up in Brentwood

Jan. 16--Comedic actress Tracey Ullman has sold a house in Brentwood for $3.2 million.

Set behind walls and a gated courtyard entry, the 3,013-square-foot home features walls of glass that look out on an infinity pool with a spa. Views take in the surrounding hillsides, the cityscape and distant mountains.

Wood-beamed ceilings bring warmth to the contemporary interiors.

A two-story living room leads to a television nook, and a great room sits off the kitchen and a formal dining room. There are two fireplaces, three bedrooms and three bathrooms.

The grounds encompass about a half-acre.

Ullman, 55, played Jack's mother in the recent film "Into the Woods." She won Emmys for her series "Tracey Takes On ..." and "The Tracey Ullman Show," among others.

Former owners of the property, which previously sold in 2013 for $2.566 million, include White House interior designer Michael Smith.

Scott Segall of Douglas Elliman was the listing agent.
