BRIEF: Town hall meeting on underage drinking set in Aurora

April 18--Underage drinking will be in the spotlight during a town hall meeting in Aurora Wednesday.

The Aurora Community Alliance will present a program call Underage Drinking and Social Host Law at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Santori Public Library, 101 S. River St.

Guest speakers at the event will include Robyn Block of Students Against Disruptive Decisions, Ted Penesis of the Illinois Liquor Control Commission, Lark Cowart of the Kane County State's Attorney's Office, a representative from the Aurora Police Department's Special Operations Bureau, members of Operation Snowball from East Aurora High School and Above the Influence Club at West Aurora High School.

The Aurora Community Alliance is a group containing a number of Aurora area organizations including the city of Aurora, Aurora Township, Aurora Police Department, Fox Valley Park District and more.
