Dec. 27--The Clippers, who entered Saturday's game against the Toronto Raptors having won eight straight home games, finally lost at Staples Center, 110-98.
It was a close game until the fourth quarter.
After three quarters, the Raptors were up by two points, 80-78. The Raptors then opened the fourth quarter with a 13-2 run to take a 13-point lead, 93-80, with nine minutes remaining. They extended that lead to as many as 17 points.
The Raptors outshot the Clippers, 47.7% to 45.7%.
J.J. Redick led the Clippers with 23 points. Blake Griffin had 22 points, six rebounds and five assists. Jamal Crawford had 20 points and five assists. DeAndre Jordan finished with 20 rebounds and four points.
Kyle Lowry led the Raptors with 25 points, seven assists and three rebounds.
The Clippers had 15 turnovers, which led to 20 points for Toronto. The Raptors had 10 turnovers.
The Clippers are on a stretch of nine consecutive home games. They beat the Golden State Warriors, 100-86, on Christmas before losing to the Raptors.
The Raptors entered Saturday's game after having four days off.
