Dec. 07--Catcher Willson Contreras and third baseman Jeimer Candelario of the Chicago Cubs and outfielder Adam Engel of the White Sox were named Monday to the 2015 Arizona Fall League's 2015 Top Prospects team.

Contreras capped his breakout season by batting .283 with three home runs and eight RBIs for the Mesa Solar Sox before missing the final week of the season because of a hamstring injury.

Candelario batted .325 with five home runs and 15 RBIs for the Solar Sox. Contreras and Candelario were added to the Cubs' 40-man roster.

Engel won the AFL's Joe Black most valuable player award after hitting a league-high .403 and had a .523 on-base percentage with 10 stolen bases.

The players were selected by the AFL's managers and coaches.
