Dec. 02--Tony Bennett and Lady Gaga, who scored an international hit with their duets album "Cheek to Cheek," will bring their stage show to the Ravinia Festival in Highland Park on June 26 and 27.
The concerts will mark Lady Gaga's Ravinia debut and Bennett's 28th season at the festival, where he first appeared in 1984. The singers will be touring major venues before then, playing The Cosmopolitan in Las Vegas on Dec. 30 and 31, plus shows next year at the Hollywood Bowl in California, Radio City Music Hall in New York and elsewhere.
Bennett, 88, and Lady Gaga, 28, took on jazz standards in "Cheek to Cheek," Lady Gaga meeting the legendary singer on his musical turf.
Tickets for the duo's Chicago-area premiere will go on sale to Ravinia Festival donors on March 10; remaining tickets will sell to the general public on April 28. The festival's complete lineup will be announced on March 5.
