Jan. 19--One of the most entertaining segments of the "Waddle Silvy" show is when they read listeners' "Would You Rather" questions. We took that concept and turned it on Tom Waddle.
Would you rather do radio or television?
Waddle: "I enjoy doing both, but I feel a little more at home with radio. Doing radio for four hours is closer to playing than TV where you're only on for a few minutes. Radio gives you more time to roam. Plus, you don't have to worry about how your hair is combed."
Would you rather have had 20 extra pounds of muscle or be a tenth of a second faster during your days with the Bears?
Waddle: "The extra pounds would have helped me absorb the blows, but I would have taken the speed. It would have made me a more explosive player and made me more money."
Would you rather go to a Cubs game with Marc Silverman or David Kaplan, both diehard Cubs fans?
Waddle: "You can't do that to me. That's like asking which one of my children do I like the best? I'm going to refrain from answering."
Would you rather see Brian Urlacher with hair or without?
Waddle: "Brian has the perfect face for a bald guy. Not that he doesn't look good with hair. I don't want him mad at me."
