BRIEF: Todd Bowles coaching interview switched to Thursday

Jan. 08--The Bears' head coaching interview with Cardinals defensive coordinator Todd Bowles has been rescheduled for Thursday, according to a league source.

Bowles originally had been slated to speak with the Falcons on Thursday but flip-flopped that meeting to Saturday, a change necessitated because of the death of Molly Blank, the 99-year-old mother of Falcons owner Arthur Blank.

Bowles originally had been scheduled to meet with the Bears on Saturday.

The Bears also interviewed two more candidates for their general manager opening Wednesday, speaking with Chiefs director of player personnel Chris Ballard and Saints director of player personnel Ryan Pace. The team confirmed those interviews Wednesday evening, a day after the organization interviewed Titans vice president of player personnel Lake Dawson and Texans director of pro personnel Brian Gaine for the opening.
