Oct. 14--The hits keep coming for Chicago Cubs rookie slugger Kyle Schwarber.
One day after hitting a home run that landed on top of the Wrigley Field message board in right field, Schwarber agreed to a contract with New Era, the official on-field cap of Major League Baseball, to be a brand ambassador.
Schwarber will be featured in promotions through the 2017 season. Schwarber joins All-Stars David Ortiz of Boston, Andrew McCutchen of Pittsburgh and Buster Posey of San Francisco, as well as Manny Machado of Baltimore and Curtis Granderson of the New York Mets as brand spokesmen.
