Jan. 22--Singer-songwriter Tim Myers bought a house in Hidden Hills last year for $5.93 million and recently renovated it.
Among improvements to the property, Myers renovated and built out a new recording studio.
Set on 1.36 landscaped acres, the 11,039-square-foot mansion was once the home of singer-songwriter John Mayer, who recorded his Grammy-winning album "Battle Studies" there.
The Mediterranean-style villa features a rotunda entry, an open floor plan, a gym, a home theater with upholstered walls, a study and a family room with a wetbar. A dramatic dual staircase leads to the upper floor.
A resort-style swimming pool with waterfalls, a pergola and a long driveway complete the grounds. There is a four-car garage.
Myers, 30, recently released the solo album "The Year." He is a founding member of OneRepublic and co-wrote such band hits as "Stop and Stare" and "Someone to Save You."
Marc Shevin and Rory Shevin of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices were the listing agents. Dana Olmes and Jeffery Biebuyck of Ewing Sotheby's International Realty represented Myers.
