BRIEF: Tiger Woods says he spends his days walking and playing video games

Dec. 01--Tiger Woods was just being realistic.

Having undergone three surgical procedures on the same spot in his back in the last 19 months, most recently back in October, the former world No. 1 golfer said Tuesday he has no idea when he'll be able to play again.

"I have no answer for that and neither does my surgeon," Woods said while speaking at Albany Golf Club in the Bahamas as part of his stint as tournament host for the Hero World Challenge. "There is no timetable, so that's the hardest part for me. There's really nothing I can look forward to, nothing I can build toward.

"Where is the light at the end of the tunnel?"

Still four major titles behind Jack Nicklaus, the man known for being a fierce competitor on the golf course suggested that he could be content with his 14 major wins to go with his 79 PGA Tournament victories -- which, he noted, are six more than Nicklaus won.

"I think pretty much everything beyond this will be gravy," said Woods, who hasn't played since the Wyndham Championship in August.

When asked what he is able to do for exercise, Woods answered: "I walk. And I walk and I walk some more." He also noted that he spends most of his days playing video games.
